The mission of the Chamber is to empower, advocate for, and accelerate the success of minority-owed businesses within Wilmington and the surrounding areas by providing access to resources, education, mentorship, partnership, and economic opportunities.
What we advocate for
ACCESS TO CAPITAL:

We advocate for increased funding opportunities for minority-owned businesses, including support for CDFIs, MDIs, grants, and low-interest loan programs.

ACCESS TO MARKETS & CONTRACTS:
​
We work to ensure minority businesses can compete for government and cooperate opportunities through supplier diversity advocacy, fair procurement, and certification support.
ENTREPRENEURSHIP EDUCATION & DEVELOPMENT:

We provide mentorship, business coaching, networking, and workshops to help minority entrepreneurs build skills, grow sustainably, and create generational wealth.
